Artist's Comments"Of one so young, so rich in Nature's store Who could not say: ''tis pity she's a whore.'" This is Syeria, the gypsy dancer. Also known as Gem's mom. You see, Gem wasn't born on purpose... she was an accident waiting to blossom. Gem's mother knew that she, herself, was beautiful and gifted with a grand body, and being married with a son was only a problem to that trait. To earn money during the hard times for the family, she sold herself to the streets to show off her body and simply dance as a street performer. Once a rich, wealthy, pig of a man finds this beauty, he takes advantage of the situation the young girl was in and led her into having an affair. Surviving on this affair to pay off her family's debt in secret, it wasn't long until she found out she was pregnant with well... you know who. I'll just let you have that much of a snack for now. Hope you liked the most of it.  and I'm sorry it's not the best picture. My scanner kinda chewed it up and spat it out once it was completely scanned. With a bit of editing in Paint.NET, it was pretty simple to fix on some parts. But truly, I should have done better. Coloring is not at all my strong suit, so I'll put up an uncolored copy in my scraps if any is interested. Thank you for reading and viewing Syeria.  |

For Jasper, the half brother, he mostly took up for himself and always dreamed of working for the army frontier. He was one to be vain and one who never grew too close to his own father. I'm hoping to write something to make this all make more sense.
